Spelling in grade 2 is separated into 3 groups- red, blue, or yellow. Please have your child study only the words for their group.
Spelling will start on September 13th with the homework. There will be a spelling test every Friday. My goal is that spelling words become familiar enough that proper spelling is retained beyond the test to be used in day-to-day writing.
